Top Podcast Guest From 2019 and 2020

Great Listens!

I just wanted to make a quick list of some of the top guest or great listens from my podcast in the last year or so. Make a few notes and tell you why.

1) Andrew J. Rivers From Dry Bar and BuzzFeed

This is an episode I truly enjoyed. I sat down with Andrew who has roughly been doing comedy same amount of time as me. We both have a lot in common but live different lives. I remember sitting in the hotel room for 3 hours just discussing our Top favorite comedians 2019. Going in depth about Dry Bar comedy and Dry Bar comedians and the Dry Bar app that was recently created. Later this episode would launch to the top of iTunes and truly helped grow the Zack Lyman Podcast.

2)  Bubba McComb From Hella Tired Podcast

I loved this one for many reasons. I truly enjoy Bubba as a good friend. He has a great podcasting voice and you can see why his podcast "Hella Tired Podcast" is such a big juggernaut in the Arizona comedy scene. His podcast has some amazing guest like Steve Byrne ( stand-up comedian and actor. He is best known for creating and starring in Sullivan & Son) or Brad Williams (stand-up comedian and actor, who has appeared in numerous films and television shows)

3) Cara Nicole / AZPowerGirl

Cara episode is one I think about often. She is such a power house. I do not know anyone that works as hard as her. Since this episode I have called her for advice on projects because she has done everything. Just check out her Bio

AZ Powergirl/Cara Nicole is more than a pretty face. Yes, she is a world-wide cosplay sensation. Yes, she has pushed the limits of cosplay as an art form by creating books, appearing on national television, radio and print ads. Yes, Cara has worked for Marvel and Big City Comics at San Diego Comicon and is actually the model for Magic: The Gathering’s Emmara Tandris card (not many people can say that they are on a Magic card). And yes, Cara Nicole travels internationally to comic book, anime, pop- culture and other conventions. But with all of her success, she has not lost sight of her start in comics and still participates in as many local charity events as possible. Especially when it involves children or blood drives. As a true supporter to her passion of costuming, Cara uses her experience as an elite cosplayer to teach panels on Cosplay Safety, The Business of Cosplay, as well as mentors many newer costumers to grow in the business.

AZ Powergirl/ Cara Nicole is more than a cosplayer, costume designer and model. She is a spokesperson, actress, comic book writer, editor, colorist as well as co-founder and co-owner of 183 Degree Studio.

4) Joel Byars From The Hot Breath! Podcast

Joel Byars is a comedian and podcaster. I have been listening to his podcast for years. I have heard him interview some of my top favorite comedians and also some of the most well known stand up comedians in the game. Such as Dusty Slay, Mark Normand, Bo Burnham just to name a few. Since this chat we have worked together on other projects and has remained a friend. Give it a listen and go check out the Hot Breath Podcast. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Thank you for checking out this blog post. I am sure I will be adding to the list in the near future. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. I appreciate all of you.
